Bat Removal Suwanee, GA

city hall in downtown Suwanee, GeorgiaWhen bats make your home into their home, they can cause serious trouble. Dropping their urine and feces where they hang, they can seriously damage your attic as the waste piles up along the edge of your home or on top of drywall and attic insulation in. The longer the bat waste sits there, the more difficult it is to remove. For this reason, it’s best to call Attic Kings at any sign that you may have a bat problem, we are Suwanee’s main source for bat removal.

Problems with Bats

  • Tearing up and ruining insulation
  • Producing awful smells
  • Their feces is so toxic and so acidic it can eat through wood, soft metal, and screens
  • Carry mites, ticks, and other parasites
  • Bat waste also has the potential to grow fungi that, if inhaled over a long period of time, can cause lung diseases
  • Making loud squeaking noises

How Bats Get in Your House

Unlike rats, bats don’t chew holes to get into your home. No, they will come through vents and other holes in attics, crawl spaces, and even garages. Bats specialize in this as they can squeeze into a hole that is roughly the equivalent of that of a human thumb.

The only benefit bats really carry, as far as humans are concerned, is that they eat those pesky mosquitoes. Not that that is good enough reason to keep them around. Other than that, they are kind of creepy and rather bothersome. It should be noted that one bat can eat up to 1,000 mosquitoes an hour! Bats are actually more closely related to humans and other primates than they are rodents, that’s why we humanely remove them from homes and attics.

Though we do remove bats, it should be noted that we are not able to remove lactating or if they have young between the 1st of May and the 25th of August. Our one-way exit tunnels are the best and safest way to remove bats. By sealing up all known entryways, our custom-made tunnels act as the only way for the bats to get out and feed. Because bats feed on a regular basis, our tunnels should remove them in a week or less.

Loud noises, pounding on walls, and spraying them with water are among our methods of removal. Our methods of bat removal may not seem ordinary to you, but they are quite effective. Once they have temporally left the area, we will seal off any access points to the attic.

Once the bats are removed, it’s very important that we replace any contaminated insulation, treat, and clean the area to prevent further contamination. This will keep you and your family safe from the harmful effects that bat feces can have on your health. We also offer services for attic decontamination

Suwanee’s Bat Removal Experts

Attic Kings does not use poisons as part of its removal process. Using poisons can cause severe health hazards to your pets and family, and aren’t nearly as effective as our exit tunnels.

Jonathan and his crew were very professional and took care of our huge critter problem. He did several follow-up visits to make sure the traps were working and was always available to answer my questions. They were a pleasure to work with and worth every dollar.

I had a bad squirrel problem in my attic, so I called Attic Kings. They came out to do an inspection and found out how the pests were getting in. They installed one of their tunnels and within days, they were gone. It has been over a year since Attic Kings have gotten rid of my squirrel problem and the animals haven’t been back since.
